HOTMELT-MOULDING

We provide thermoplastic THERMELT® capping materials based on polyamide or polyester for mould capping technology in low-pressure moulding. Depending on their constructive forming, these materials withstand even the hardest testing procedures, such as salt spray tests or temperature shock tests. Temperature stabilities are possible from -55 or up to +180°C. Strong adhesive attributes on the most diverse substrata materials and good chemical stability against environmental impacts make these substances the first choice for many applications.

In selecting the material to be employed for your application we give consideration to all factors, which are important to the protection and longevity of your components and production process. These include softening point, working temperature, adhesion to the support material, processing viscosity, Shore hardness, elongation at break and fire behaviour, as well as resistance to aggressive media, such as petrol and alcohol.

Through environmentally friendly, low-pressure injection moulding procedures the forming of capping is individually adapted to fulfil your conditions within convincingly short process times, and therefore generates excellent protection.
